WHAT - The Jonquil Hotel is located in a renovated building in the North of Howard neighborhood, and serves as a low-cost, transitional home for disadvantaged families. Volunteers will interact with resident children (ages 5-12) through crafts, science experiments, and outdoor games. The Saturday morning program begins at 9:30am, so volunteers should arrive 15-20 minutes early to recieve an introduction and instructions.
