CAIR-Chicago Assists in Resolving Complaint for Muslim Seeking Dental License
January 26, 2006

1/26/06 – A Muslim man received permission from a state dentist licensing committee to take his clinical exam. The man had been rejected by the committee for what he perceived to be discrimination. CAIR-Chicago contacted the licensing committee, who subsequently investigated the complaint and re-reviewed the man’s credentials. The man was approved shortly after.
