Awareness Project

Our Awareness Project collaborates with mosques, student groups, and community organziations in facilitating workshops and training on media activism, diversity and culture of Muslim Americans, and issues facing Muslim American youth. CAIR-Chicago’s awareness project offers: 

1. Know Your Rights trainings on legal issues related to law enforcement encounters to our mosques, schools and centers free of charge; 

2. Sensitivity Trainings to civil rights offenders including employers, government offices and others; 

3. Hot Issues Awareness talks at schools and mosques regarding controversial issues in the headlines
