CAIR-Chicago Speaks at “GO OUT & VOTE” Community Forum

Local community members gathered at the Mosque Foundation in Bridgeview this Saturday December 29, 2007 to hear speakers and attend a Q & A at the “GO OUT & VOTE!” community forum. CAIR-Chicago Executive Director Ahmed Rehab joined Imam Jamal Said in discussing the civic duty of the American Muslim community to remain informed and to vote at all voting opportunities, local as well as national. The forum discussed the importance of working alongside immigrant and minority communities on shared issues and addressed audience concerns about citizenship delays, discrimination, and bias against Muslims.
