CAIR-Chicago Interns Learn Media Montioring Through Bias Training

On Wednesday, June 26th, CAIR-Chicago interns worked with Communications Coordinator Saadia Pervaiz to learn the basics of media monitoring. In the worksop, Saadia went over the basics of logical fallacies and cognitive biases. She then passed out cards with biases and fallacies and had the interns act out their cards. For the latter half of the event, the group sat and watched real world broadcasts and worked to identify the biases, fallacies, and other logical mistakes used.
