On Tuesday, July 23rd, CAIR-Chicago hosted “Common Grounds,” its first in a series of events planned to promote interfaith dialogue.

Members of all different faiths gathered in the Azima center, discussing an array of topics over cups of coffee and treats. In this open space, guests shared their opinions and beliefs without judgement and found common ground relating to foundations of other faiths.

Attendees from all walks of life explored resources for peacemaking found in the traditions and teachings of their faith and discussed how religion can contribute to peace in the world.
