Outreach in the Face of Covid
COVID-19 tried to stop us.
But we stood up to the challenge and utilized technology to ensure that our outreach effectiveness was the same if not more.
The COVID-19 pandemic relegated us all to our homes for over a year. For our Outreach Department, that proved difficult. How were we supposed to hold our events when we had to shelter in place?
We harnessed the power of technology to ensure that the same effective outreach to our communities and the public took place. This included our REvision and Outreach Series. Since Summer 2020, we've hosted numerous organizations and individuals through the webinar format to ensure our community got the education and engagement it expects from CAIR-Chicago.
Watch the video above for more info. We have pioneered with our partners the largest bystander training program to educate people on how to behave when confronted with bigotry and hate crimes, running multiple sessions a week.
