CAIR-Chicago's Staff Attorney, Rabya Khan, was a featured speaker at the "Remember our Civil Rights and Civil Liberties" interfaith event this past Monday, January 21st to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

CAIR-Chicago Civil Rights Director Christina Abraham spoke to Northwestern University students about how Muslims in America contribute to continuing the civil rights legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and how the movement is relevant among Muslims in America.

CAIR-Chicago’s Communications Coordinator Reem Rahman is scheduled to participate in the Drum Major Institute’s summer public policy intensive this August 1 to August 12 2007 alongside other young leaders from across the nation.
