Come support the Jewish Council on Urban Affairs this year by attending Iftar in the Synagogue on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 6:30PM.

Chicago Jews and Muslims united at the Anshe Sholom B'nai Israel Congregation in the Lakeview neighborhood on the North Side on Monday, September 22nd, for “Iftar in the Synagogue,” a special interfaith event that drew both groups together to eat, pray, learn and discuss the similarities of their faith.

The Jewish Council on Urban Affairs with the Anshe Sholom B'nai Israel Congregation invite Muslims and Jews to come together and join them for a unique gathering during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan and the Jewish month of Elul, a time of repentance.
