On March 10, 2011 CAIR-Chicago’s Outreach Coordinator, Gerald Hankerson, and Communications Coordinator, Amina Sharif, conducted a presentation among teachers who are part of the Inner-City Teaching Corps (ICTC).

CAIR-Chicago Communications Coordinator, Amina Sharif, will be giving a presentation at a DePaul University class entitled "Multiculturalism and Democracy: Middle East Communities in the United States." The course focuses on issues of political socialization and identity.

It was great to see images reflective of American Muslims in the coverage of the "Hyde Park haircut hub on the move" (Page 1, Dec. 27). It's a much-needed breath of fresh air from the prevalent media presentation of Muslims in contexts of strife, grief or conflict.
