The "Sacrifice for Our Neighbors project" resulted in a donation of over 20,000 pounds of beef to the Greater Chicago Food Depository (GCFD) last year.

WHAT - Join us at the Greater Chicago Food Depository for an afternoon of sorting and repacking food for those in need.

After a short presentation on the mission and vision of the Greater Chicago Food Depository, and on the existing poverty levels in the United States, volunteers were divided into several groups, each with a specific task. CAIR-Chicago volunteers were assigned the task of weighing and packaging cereal.
