Who is behind the anti-Sharia movement? David Yerushalmi, the director for the Society of Americans for National Existence, is quietly leading a campaign to demonize Islam and Muslims.

Due to ignorance and fear, there are proposals to ban Sharia law from being incorporated into or superceding the U.S. Constitution. However, Sharia is simply a code of conduct for Muslims to lead healthy and peaceful lives and poses no threat to non-Muslim societies.

On March 5th and 6th, CAIR-Chicago participated in CAIR’s 6th Annual Advocacy Days on Capitol Hill. Leaders from more than 20 CAIR offices from across the nation met with Congressional offices representing their home states to draw support against racial profiling and guaranteed protection of due process for all individuals.
