CAIR-Chicago Executive Director joined a panel of religious leaders on ABC7's Windy City Live. The leaders included a Jewish Rabbi, Catholic priest, and Christian pastor and they discussed various issues such as women's roles, youth involvement, and core faith beliefs.

"Beyond simply being a protest, the walkout was also a demonstration of solidarity and strength between student activist organizations at DePaul," said student Leila Abdul Razzaq.

The Illinois Coalition to Protect Academic Freedom and Free Speech (CAIR-Chicago is a member) announces that the anti-boycott bill is officially dead for this session of the Illinois State Senate.

The panels touched on key issues revolving around the online realm and its uses in carving a raw space for community conversation on taboo issues facing the millennial generation, particularly those in the Muslim community, as well as how social media can be most efficiently utilized for activism, coalition building, and amplifying one’s voice.
