Tala is a Sophomore at Boston University, studying Economics with a minor in Environmental Analysis and Policy and Women’s studies. While she is still unsure on a definitive career path after university, she joined CAIR-Chicago to pursue her interest in activism and to help play a role in promoting a more positive view on Islam, specifically, in the United States. She likes to spend her free time reading, painting, and pursuing her other passion, photography.
