Civil Rights Intern - Fall 2024

Kamar Ahmed is a Civil Rights Intern for the fall term at CAIR Chicago. She recently graduated from DePaul University in June of 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology. With a strong academic record, she was a part of the Criminal Justice Honor’s Society at Depaul known as Alpha Phi Sigma.  Her passion for giving back to the community is one of the reasons she chose to intern at CAIR where she is looking forward to contributing to the work at CAIR. Interning with the Civil Rights Department will allow her to gain more experience into some of the legal aspects at CAIR.  Her goal is to continue her education through law school and eventually become a criminal defense attorney.
