Kimberly Newkirk is the Director of Quality Training and Development at Rust-Oleum Corporation. She is also an Adjunct Professor at Benedictine University School of Business. She has been an activist within the Muslim community for six years in various capacities. She was the Executive Secretary for the Islamic Foundation North from 2005 to 2007 and holds the same position for the Annual Convention of the Islamic Society of North America. She recieved a BA in Social Sciences and a Masters Certificate in Human Resouce Management from Chapman University, and an MA in Human Resource Development from Webster University.
As a board member she plans to provide a foundation and structure for CAIR to be an innovative leader in social causes in a a fiscally sound manner. "The beautiful part of this opportunity is doing this in the Name of Allah and providing essential community services at the same time," she said. "This is the true spirit of Islam."
