The 'My Rights My Life' event aims to teach people about their rights and how to practice them in dealing with the police.
About The Event
CAIR-Chicago and ACLU-Illinois will hold "Know Your Rights" information sessions to understand your legal rights in case of police encounters or emergencies. This is your chance to learn about your rights and how you can apply them to your everyday life.
Create Protest Posters with "Exercise Your Rights!" Art Station. Express your thoughts about policing in America by crafting your masterpieces. Then, we'll provide the public with the necessary tools to make it happen. The theme for your poster is "What would your message be if you were to demonstrate right now?"
At Pledge Station, CAIR-Chicago and ACLU-Illinois are urging all participants to share the valuable insights they gained from the educational sessions conducted by the organizations.
