RECAP: My Rights My Life Event
It is with great pleasure that we share an update on a recent event hosted by CAIR-Chicago and ACLU-Illinois. On May 16th, an information session titled ‘My Rights My Life’ was held at the CAIR-Chicago's Azima Center to help community members better understand how to navigate police interactions. This event was made accessible both in-person and online to ensure everyone had the opportunity to participate. We are deeply grateful for the support we have received in raising awareness about knowing your rights, and we remain committed to the fight against police brutality. By working together, we can positively impact our communities and uphold the fundamental values of justice and equality.
