Noraan Mohamed is a third-year Journalism and Political Science major at Northwestern University, with a minor in Creative Writing (poetry concentration) and a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communications. As a summer communications intern, she is passionate about writing for social justice and multimedia journalism. Growing up in the Chicagoland area, CAIR's mission deeply resonated with her, motivating her to support the Muslim community and advocate for Palestinians. While currently on a pre-law track, Noraan also aspires to pursue a career as a poet, author, and journalist. She enjoys classical music and plays clarinet in her college marching band. Noraan's interests include reading, podcasts, fashion, A24 movies, and she shares her home with five cats.
