Hafsa Haider

Communications Coordinator

Hafsa Haider serves as a Communications Coordinator at CAIR-Chicago. She studied Anthropology and Diversity & Global Studies from Florida Atlantic University. She is passionate about diverse cultures and advocating for marginalized communities, leveraging her interest in storytelling for those with voices unheard.

Prior to her role at CAIR-Chicago, Hafsa served as an Executive Assistant at The Guatemalan-Maya Center, a grassroots organization dedicated to assisting the Indigenous Maya community in South Florida.

Outside of work, Hafsa enjoys traveling, like the summer she spent researching in Ecuador while practicing her Spanish skills and whale watching along the rural coast. Although she has explored Japan and Pakistan visiting family, she looks forward to visiting new continents.
